After studying Theatre Performance in Coláiste Stiofáin Naofa in Cork and Advanced Acting at the Gaeity School of Acting in Dublin, Bernard starred in a series of award winning short films including ‘CRAM ’, winner of BeComedy Lab UK’s Best Short Film, and Irish language production Word of Mouth which won Best Comedy at Charlie Chaplin Film Festival 2018. He also starred in the feature film Tradition alongside Paul Ronan and Pascal Scott. Bernard has featured in commercials for Lidl, Virgin Media, Bulmers, RTE and the Credit Union. He is also a cast member of The Improvised Panto which runs every December at the Cork Opera House.
